Hi, I’m Buck. I’m the AV Dude.
I’ve been building WordPress plugins under the name avdude since 2008. I have a strong technical background working across education, technology and AV engineering.
Why the name?
I enjoy technology, its integration and application. I originally got into technology as an AV integrator. So AV Dude seemed like a great handle back then. It has just stuck since.
How I build
When Event Registration needed to come back to WordPress.org, I rebuilt it from scratch rather than patch the old code. That’s the standard for everything here: secure from the first line, tested in real environments, and supported by the person who wrote it.
